My passion for childhood photography began the first time I took a photograph of a little one. It has only grown now that I'm expecting my first (yay!), and understand the importance of capturing their sweet lives on film from the first moment you hear that heartbeat. My lifestyle approach to each session allows me to photograph the moments that are most genuine. I structure my sessions in a way that allow your child's innocence, unpredictabilty and remarkable candid spirit to shine through every photo. My greatest hope is that my photographs will whisper moments of laughter, love, and tell the story of who your child is.
Thank you for stopping by. I can't wait to get to know your family and photograph your little one!

A few weekends ago some friends of our came in town and we decide to break in the pasta press Jordan received for Christmas. We followed Jamie Oliver’s recipe
as well as tips Emily and Ryan picked up while living in France. It was a little intimidating and we improvised in a few ways but the result was AMAZING pasta!
So much betterthan anything store bought. We tossed it in Jordan’s homemade pesto and it paired with rosemary crusted salmon. It is a certainly must try for everyone!

Earlier this year Sarah contacted me and asked if I would be her mentor for a school project. I was so flattered and happily agreed! The project was to find a topic to debate and choose which side you wanted to defend. She choose to do why film photography is superior to digital photography. Over the course of the year I’ve met with her several times to teach her the basics of both avenues of photography and discuss her progress. A couple weekends ago we met for one of the last times so I had to snap of couple of her with my Contax! It was such a pleasure to be involved in a project like this and reminded me of all the reasons I love film so SO much. I can’t wait to hear how the final product turns out!

Thinking of this little guy today. I photographed him when he was just days old. He is eight months now and his parents are friends of ours. They found out recently that he has a extremely rare genetic disorder called Gaucher’s disease. They are currently in Houston seeking treatment that could possibly help. Please be praying that his little body is miraculously healed. If you are interested in keeping up with his treatment and progress they have a Caring Bridge site. (link below)
